Vehicle Auto Shut-off Timer

This control is designed and manufactured by PDI for OEMs servicing the automotive, public service (ie; emergency first responder markets). It's designed to maintain power to 12V outlets in vehicles after the ignition is turned off in order to guarantee power for critical accessories such as computers, cameras, phones, communication equipment, etc. The unit continuously monitors the battery health in a vehicle and will automatically shut off power to the outlets based on configurable timers or sooner to assure the vehicle will always start-up again. This image takes the cover off of the Power Sentinel and shows a view of the pcb. The product includes 3 relays (one 30A relay and two 10A relays) that each have a configurable timer for maintaining power up going to three independent 12V circuits in a vehicle. Each of the timers are configurable to remain on from 5 seconds to permanent. This product can be easily adapted to many other mobile and stationary applications "as-is" or by contacting PDI for an engineering design project to meet your unique requirements.
